Biography of Alma Bakala
The Return to the Roots of the Bakala Sound
Alma Bakala is a powerful and genuine party concept created by the renowned DJ and producer from Huesca, Andrés Campo. This project was born as a deeply personal tribute to his musical origins at the legendary Coliseum club in Almudévar and the golden age of the 'ruta' sound, paying homage to the harder and more nostalgic side he developed in his early days under his alias Kuki.
A Sound Journey Without Restrictions
The core of Alma Bakala is an unapologetic fusion. During these events, which often take the form of extended sets of twelve hours or more, the artist proposes a journey where his early Makina and Hard Dance productions coexist in perfect balance with his most current and international Techno sound. It is a space without scripts or pre-established rules, where the only purpose is for the audience to unleash their most rebellious spirit, metaphorically getting down into the 'mud' of the dance floor.
Traveling Tour Through the Temples of Electronic Music
More than a fixed residency, Alma Bakala operates as a successful tour of special events and massive capacities. The brand has managed to hang the 'sold out' sign in some of the most important electronic music venues in Spain, passing through the macro-nightclub Fabrik in Madrid, the iconic Sala Sonora in Bilbao, the Espacio Zity during the Fiestas del Pilar in Zaragoza, and even key venues for the remember sound like the legendary Discoteca Chocolate in Valencia.
