Boris Club

A pocket-sized club in the upper zone

The reduced scale defines the character of Boris Club: a capacity of 250 people designed for listening up close, looking at the booth without distance, and building a night that is more selective than massive. The club occupies number 25 of Carrer de Bori i Fontestà, in the upper zone of Barcelona, and is integrated into the leisure ecosystem of Costa Este, the group associated with venues such as KU Barcelona, Opium, or Bling Bling. Its public opening came in October 2025, after a private inauguration, as the group's first new club since 2018.

The old Bacarrá, reimagined

The project is born on the space of the old Bacarrá, completely rehabilitated to operate with a different dance floor logic. The intervention by Futur2 opted for a warm, dark, and contemporary interior, with discreet textures, deep reds, and immersive lighting that avoids the generic venue format. The most important decision is in the scale: Boris does not seek to compete with the city's great temples, but to propose a compact venue where acoustics, the view of the booth, and the circulation of the public have real weight. The d&b audiotechnik system reinforces that idea of a small but demanding club, designed so that sound pressure does not depend on excess, but on definition.

Adult electronics and proximity dance floor

The programming moves within contemporary club electronics, with a special presence of house, techno, afro-house, deep house, tech, and melodic techno, in addition to connections with afrobeat, amapiano, and indie dance. In its first dates, names like Dorian Craft, Andrea Castells, K:ROL, or Marten Lou appeared, in an artistic line oriented toward DJs capable of reading a small room and maintaining a dance floor narrative. The booth functions as a physical and symbolic focus: the public is a few steps away from the selector, without losing the sophisticated component that defines the door and the night experience.

Privacy, VIP, and new nightlife map

Boris works with an opening format from Thursday to Saturday and VIP table reservations, but its interest for club culture does not reside only in exclusivity. Its value is in introducing an electronic club of intimate scale in an area of the city more associated with elegant leisure than the underground circuit. The combination of careful sound, adult audience, selective programming, and immersive design positions it as an alternative to the more touristy and massive axis of Barcelona. Active and with its own calendar, the club functions as a small laboratory for a scene that increasingly seeks identity, comfort, and sound precision.
