The music room of Villalpando

The byAlice lettering is not in the old town: it points to a room in the nightclub corridor of the Villalpando road, in Zamora. The physical venue presents itself today as By Alice Music Room, with access via Calle del Pinar, 6, and since the end of 2013 it has functioned simultaneously as a nightclub and as a concert venue. It is not a traveling brand or a party without a home: it is the stable venue of that leisure strip, designed to extend the night until dawn.

White tubes, double bar, and booth at the back

Official photos of the club show a single, wide warehouse, with a central dance floor and a double perimeter bar bathed in green. At the back, a central booth is cut out; to one side, screens. Hanging from the ceiling are rows of white tubes that have become the visual signature of the space. The opening of the 26/27 season was announced with a Funktion-One system. The room is used as a medium-sized club, with a path around the dance floor and the booth as an axis.

Brand electronics, commercial dance floor, and live act

The musical life of the venue does not fit into a single genre, and that mix is what is typical of this music room. The promoter Somnia—a brand of events, not the building—has turned By Alice into its Zamora home for electronic music, with nights that close at 07:00 and lineups like Dave Clarke. In parallel, the club holds reggaeton parties, commercial hits, and a university calendar, and opens the stage to rumba, pop, and rap concerts: Hard GZ is announced for October 2026. The double agenda—Saturday dance floor and headline room—is what sustains the venue more than a decade after opening.

Season by date

There is no fixed commercial schedule. The nightclub nights of the 26/27 opening were announced from 00:00 to 07:30; concerts start around 21:00. The venue has accessible entrance for wheelchairs. In 2017, By Alice On Road was born, a mobile macro-nightclub that left this room to tour the province: it was a traveling appendix, not a different venue. The Villalpando building remains the physical club.
