Beachfront, terrace and dance floor on the sand

The Atlantic breeze hits the terrace and the crowd ends up dancing with sand between their toes. Mykonos Beach Club thrives on that contrast: by day it is a beach bar with a Mediterranean menu and cocktails; at sunset, that same space turns into a dance floor. The single-story venue opens onto Calle Tres Marías, in the Punta Mar area, with the sea just a step away and the sunset facing Portugal. It is not an industrial container or a winter club: it is a beachfront spot with wood, shade nets, VIP boxes, and reserved tables, designed for tardeo (afternoon drinks) and extending the night by the waves.

Tech house at sunset

The musical life of the venue is written in the key of electronic tardeo. Residents Ceci García and Abreco have sustained the weekend afternoons season after season, with sessions that start in the mid-afternoon and last until closing. On that foundation, Mykonos has brought a tech house, house, and dance electronic agenda to the Huelva coast: Miguel Bastida, Rafa Barrios, Guille Placencia, Sara de Araújo, Aaron Sevilla, Les Castizos, Matthias Tanzmann, or Michael BM. There is no daily line-up all year round. There is a season, dates marked in red, and a crowd that arrives at the beach in the mid-afternoon and stays when there is no light left.

DUNA and the night that continues at Mamajuana

The most unique chapter of recent years is DUNA, the open air event by the Andalusian collective NOON Música Moderna. The proposal is explicit: gather with your feet in the sand, from afternoon to dawn. That formula has included local selectors and international headliners like Oxia. There, the venue is read as an open-air dance floor on the Costa de la Luz: DJ booth against the wind, VIP boxes, shishas, and a party that, on more than one night, continues at Mamajuana, the sister club of the same group, just a few minutes from the beach bar.

The beach club of Grupo EME

Mykonos belongs to Grupo EME, the leisure group from Punta Umbría that also operates Mojito's, El Cerrito, and Alma Beach. In 2016 it was already enlivening sunsets and foam parties on the beach, and in 2022 the City Council recognized the group as a benchmark for youth leisure in the municipality. It remains active as a seasonal beach club: it does not aim to be a concrete temple, but rather the stable stage where Huelva's electronic music is heard with the sea in the background.
