Dublin rave with a contemporary pulse

The music of DART moves in a high-voltage zone where hard house, 90s progressive house, classic trance, and modern techno sound with club urgency once again. Raised in Dublin, he grew up around a rave culture that was already part of his family environment: his parents were connected to the local 90s scene, and the record collection he inherited from his mother was a direct gateway to the trance, house, and progressive cuts that continue to define his identity. That memory of venues like the Olympic Ballroom, the Asylum, and the city's vinyl shops has filtered into a language of his own, built with emotional pads, rolling basslines, sharp breaks, and euphoric builds.

Hangar, AVA, and an expanding Irish generation

Before projecting himself outside of Ireland, DART cut his teeth as a resident at Hangar, one of Dublin's key spaces, sharing an ecosystem with names from the new Irish wave like KETTAMA, Tommy Holohan, Long Island Sound, and Shampain. His breakthrough accelerated in 2018 when he won the Emerging Producer program at AVA Festival, a recognition that naturally placed him on the international circuit of festivals, clubs, and platforms. Since then, he has appeared on Boiler Room, The Lot Radio NYC, and Ransom Note, maintaining a direct, physical, and high-energy DJ style, but always with a recognizable melodic charge.

Productions between rave nostalgia and modern machinery

His catalog reflects that tension between past and present. After early releases like the I Want U EP on Extended Play and the Nothing 2 It EP on &Friends, DART solidified his profile with releases on labels such as HOMAGE, Shall Not Fade, Last Night On Earth, Remmah, Rhythm Nation, and Hot Haus Recs. Works like Scary Éire, Hit & Run, Sweet Nectar, Dawn, Tonic Ice, Jetfoil EP, and Performance Enhancers showcase a producer who does not treat nostalgia as a museum, but as fuel for fast, elastic, and emotional dancefloor music.

Rapid Trax as a statement of intent

The launch of Rapid Trax marks his most recent phase and clearly defines his place in the contemporary hard house revival. The label functions as an extension of his universe: hard-hitting rhythms, references to 90s hardbag, and a current reading of rave energy. In that orbit, collaborations with Kyle Starkey stand out, such as Dance N Move, Definition Of Love, and Always & Forever, in addition to Feel The Pressure alongside NewTone. With his artistic base in Dublin and a growing presence in European DJ booths, DART occupies a space of his own within club electronics today: fast, melodic, nostalgic, and functional, but with enough personality to avoid being reduced to a simple revival.
