Glitch Festival is the event that has transformed the island of Malta into a priority destination for European clubbing tourism. Founded in 2015 by local collectives Shift and Squadron (led by Andrew, Karl, and Kevin), the festival was born from a passion for bringing the underground sound of Berlin and Detroit to the Mediterranean climate. Its success lies in an impeccable musical curation that mixes techno titans with cult selectors.

A Unique Location

What sets Glitch apart is its main venue: Gianpula Village, an open-air nightclub complex overlooking the walled city of Mdina. The experience is completed with "Boat Parties" and a final day at a secret cove ("The Cosmic Cove"), offering a complete summer adventure. In just a few years, they have managed to create an intimate yet energetic atmosphere that competes with the major festivals in Croatia and Ibiza.
