The changing of the guard at the Real de Zaragoza dunes

In the spring of 2026, the pulse of the Playa Real de Zaragoza beachfront shifted. Where the Aquí Te Quiero Ver chiringuito had operated for decades, Sabine Beach opened a contemporary beach club and restaurant right on the sand, featuring a palette of sand, white, linen, rattan, and sun-bleached wood. The change is more than cosmetic: the venue presents itself as a Mediterranean retreat more restrained than Marbella's high-voltage clubbing, designed for long afternoons rather than the early hours of the morning.

A beach club that takes a seat at the table

Cuisine anchors the venue. The menu revolves around fish and seafood, with raw dishes, grilled options, rice dishes, and plates to share, at a price point above the classic chiringuito. Rafael da Silva and Adrián de Damas have helmed the kitchen, with a modern Mediterranean line and nods to Ibiza. The physical space flows from the front-line sun loungers and Balinese beds to shaded lounge terraces and a semi-open restaurant, allowing guests to move from a swim to the table without losing sight of the dunes.

Music at a moderate volume, with electronic peaks

Live DJs set the tone for the day without attempting to drown out conversation. On Sundays, there are vinyl sessions, and the usual selection mixes house, jazz, and African rhythms, with sunset sessions announced by the venue itself. The electronic profile intensified in July 2026 with an event by Organica and Raw Main, featuring organic house and progressive house outdoors until midnight, with the dance floor just a step away from the dunes. On restaurant evenings, there has also been live flamenco on the deck: an Andalusian contrast to the more Ibizan design of the interior.

East Coast, Metro orbit

The venue is located on calle Atenea, in eastern Marbella, next to Elviria and the Real de Zaragoza dune system. It is part of the Metro Grupo portfolio of venues on the Costa del Sol and remains linked to the company from the previous location. It is open every day: Monday from 11:00 to 20:00 and Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 22:30. It is not an after-hours club: it is a daytime and sunset venue, for booking a bed, staying for lunch, and listening to electronic music at a leisurely pace.
