The Fòrum sand has a dance floor again

For years, the beaches of Sant Adrià de Besòs were left without a beach bar. In August 2025, architect Joan Fortuny reopened that custom on the Fòrum beach, in the heart of Port Fòrum: bar, grilled cuisine, and a pergola on the sand, a stone's throw from the marina and the new hotel hub in eastern Barcelona.

It is not a late-night club or a closed room. It is a seasonal beach club that mixes tapas, grilled meats, and DJ sessions when the sun is still high. Fortuny presented it as a pilot test: a cosmopolitan service for neighbors, visitors from the metropolitan area, and tourists, with the highest influx on weekends, afternoons on Saturday, and live music on other days. The first winter it did not open; in 2026, it has returned to fill the sand with house and tech house open airs.

Between the port, the sand, and the chimneys

The venue is set on the beach with a deck terrace, containers converted into a bar, and a light shade structure. The dance floor is not indoors: you dance on the sand, with the sea on one side and the industrial profile of the Besòs in the background. That geography—port, recovered coastline, horizon of chimneys—is part of the story. Whoever arrives does not enter a dark room; they arrive at a beach bar that, as the afternoon falls, becomes an open-air beach party.

Electronic collectives in a short season

The most documented thing about this venue is not a superclub brand, but the density of parties that local collectives have anchored here. Valhalla, Lost, Les Enfants, Magnetic People, 24Seven, or Audiodise use it as a daytime open air for house, tech house, deep house, and indie dance, often with free entry and closing around midnight. The motto repeated on the posters is simple: sea, sound, and sandfloor.

The public identity of the venue is Sun Sea Bar Beach Club. The calendar is summery and dense: pilates by the sea in the morning, grilled food and drinks at noon, and electronic afternoons when the sun goes down. A small, seasonal beach bar, already integrated into the open-air circuit of the northeast coast.
