The global electronic scene receives one of the most anticipated releases of the season. Recently, Belgian producer Charlotte de Witte has released her new EP titled 'The Resistance' via her own record label, KNTXT. This four-track work not only reaffirms her position at the peak of peak-time techno, but also stands as a sonic and political statement of intent in defense of the roots of clubbing.
The project, which was officially released on September 24, 2026, is the musical culmination of her imposing audiovisual show of the same name. Over the last few months, attendees at multiple events have witnessed the evolution of this concept, whose rhythmic foundations have torn up dancefloors from its XXL format at the Belgian festival Rock Werchter in front of 40,000 people, to its imposing world premiere at the macroclub [UNVRS] in Ibiza.
Heavyweight collaborations and an unwavering message
The release, which oscillates between 140 and 143 BPM, is structured around dizzying rhythms, piercing synthesizers, and basslines designed for massive sound systems. To materialize this vision, de Witte has recruited two key figures. On one hand, Theo Nasa, who already debuted on KNTXT last year with his EP 'Lifeline', lends his deep and authoritative voice on the main track and the intro version, sentencing the project's central motto: 'we are unity, we are techno'.
On the other hand, regular vocal collaborator XSALT returns on the track 'See Through The Lies'. In this piece, futuristic effects and an aggressive synth melody intertwine with a clear message of resistance and control, consolidating the subversive and dark atmosphere that envelops the entire record.

Ten years in the vault: The story of 'Another Place'
