SXM Festival reveals the lineup for its tenth edition

The Caribbean festival celebrates ten editions

From March 17 to 21, 2027 on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, with Bob Sinclar, MEDUZA, Sasha, Claptone, Franky Rizardo, and Brunello headlining the Phase One lineup.

Since its first edition in 2016, SXM has built an identity around something difficult to replicate anywhere else: an entire island that becomes part of the festival. There is no single venue. For five days, attendees move between beaches, villas, clubs, hilltops, and unexpected locations spread across the French and Dutch sides of Saint Martin. The island is not simply the place where the festival is held, but an essential part of the experience.

In its tenth edition, SXM recovers the idea that started it all: exceptional music, extraordinary places, and enough freedom for unexpected things to happen.

A careful musical selection and top-tier lineup

Music has always come first at SXM. Instead of building the biggest lineup possible, the festival has developed its identity through a careful selection that combines established artists, renowned selectors, and emerging talent, and the 2027 lineup maintains this philosophy.

French house icon Bob Sinclar joins global electronic trio MEDUZA and progressive house pioneer Sasha, alongside Claptone, Guy Gerber, Dombresky (Disco Dom), and a new generation of artists shaping the international electronic scene. In previous editions, SXM has hosted artists such as Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, BLOND, Bonobo, and Richie Hawtin, while introducing its audience to emerging names at key moments in their careers. Each artist must make sense for the island, the location, and the moment.

The island of Saint Martin as a dance floor

SXM is as much Saint Martin as it is its own lineup. The French and Dutch sides of the island have their own culture, atmosphere, and rhythm, and during SXM, attendees experience both, moving between different spaces and discovering the island along the way.

A day might start on a beach, continue with lunch in a small town, move on to a sunset party, and end in a place completely different from what anyone had imagined. You run into people you met the night before. Someone tells you about another party. A quick stop turns into three hours, and the same faces start appearing in restaurants, boats, beaches, and, finally, back on the dance floor.

With attendees from over 58 countries in its latest editions, SXM creates an international community that, by the end of the week, feels surprisingly familiar. And at a time when practically everything is planned, posted, and documented in real-time, SXM continues to leave room to disappear for a while. Some of the best moments do not appear on the schedule.

Community, resilience, and commitment to the island

Ten editions would not be possible without an island that believes in you. When Hurricane Irma devastated Saint Martin in 2017, the SXM community mobilized to support the island and contribute to its recovery. The pandemic caused another interruption, but the relationship between the festival and Saint Martin survived. Despite everything, SXM kept coming back.

Today, local teams, suppliers, venues, restaurants, hotels, drivers, and businesses on both sides of Saint Martin continue to be an essential part of the festival. Their impact goes beyond the dance floor: international attendees stay in local hotels and villas, eat at restaurants, rent cars and boats, and discover the island during their stay. For SXM, sustainability is not just an environmental issue, but also the construction of an event that maintains a positive and lasting relationship with the place that hosts it.

The tenth edition celebrates the artists, island collaborators, team members, and international community that have shaped SXM since its beginnings. Ten editions later, Saint Martin is not simply the stage for SXM: it is the reason why SXM is SXM.

As it enters its second decade, the festival maintains the spirit that defined its beginnings: bringing people together through music, discovery, and the freedom to experience Saint Martin in their own way. The 2027 edition will celebrate that legacy while opening a new chapter, with more artists, parties, and special tenth-anniversary experiences to be announced over the coming months.
