The Franco-Cameroonian producer Tatyana Jane has just materialized one of the most important milestones of her professional career. Released digitally earlier this June under the prestigious Parisian label Ed Banger Records, her new EP titled 'Discordia' bursts onto the scene to shake the foundations of the club sound. After presenting her first demos to Pedro Winter four years ago, the project finally sees the light, consolidating her position at the forefront of current electronic music.
Sonic duality and key collaborations
Composed of six tracks, the work stands out for its bold fusion of broken rhythms, dark atmospheres, and an energy undeniably oriented towards the dancefloor. Tatyana Jane masterfully navigates between bass music, trap, breaks, and direct influences from her roots, such as the frantic Cameroonian bend-skin. This technical hybridization is further enriched with significant vocal contributions within the French-speaking urban ecosystem.
