Flower Power is much more than a party; it is the soul of Pacha Ibiza and the guardian of the original essence of the White Island. Created in 1981 (though the concept was already floating in the air) by Pacha founder Ricardo Urgell, Flower Power is a vibrant and colorful tribute to the 60s and 70s, the golden age when Ibiza became a global refuge for hippies, artists, and bohemians.

It is the longest-running party on the island and, curiously, the one that moves furthest away from the electronic music that dominates Ibiza. Flower Power is a time tunnel, a celebration of the peace, love, and freedom that defined an era and forever marked the identity of Ibiza and the Pacha brand.

Philosophy and Musical Style: All You Need Is Love

The philosophy is simple and powerful: Peace, Love, and Freedom. In an increasingly industrialized and technological environment, Flower Power champions humanity, dancing close, and smiling. The dress code is fundamental: hippy-chic aesthetic, bell-bottoms, flowers in the hair, round glasses, and lots of color.

Musically, it is an encyclopedia of 60s, 70s, and touches of 80s Rock, Pop, Soul, and Disco. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, or Janis Joplin are the spiritual "headliners". In recent years, the party has subtly evolved by incorporating remixes and edits that update these classics without losing their essence.

Highlight Events: Magical Mondays

Historically held on Mondays (though this has varied), Flower Power completely transforms Pacha. The decoration is mind-blowing: the club is filled with giant peace symbols, Vespa scooters, Volkswagen vans, and psychedelic imagery that floods every corner.

It is a unique intergenerational party in the world. On the Flower Power dance floor, you can see 20-year-old clubbers and 70-year-old island veterans dancing together. It is the favorite party of locals and many celebrities who visit the island, looking for a more relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Impact on the Scene

Flower Power is the cultural anchor of Ibiza. It reminds everyone that before the Superclubs and Techno, Ibiza was the island of freedom and counterculture.
