Akasha Las Dalias Club Ibiza

The nocturnal heartbeat under the roof of Las Dalias

Beneath acoustic panels, projections, and a DJ booth placed in the center of the dance floor, Akasha condenses the bohemian memory of Las Dalias into a very intimate club format. Its scale, around 300 people, defines the entire experience: it does not function like an Ibiza superclub, but rather as a listening and dance room where the contact between the DJ, the audience, and the architecture is immediate. The central booth, with an almost Boiler Room feel, changes the usual perspective of the dance floor and reinforces the idea of a physical community centered around music.

Akasha opened its doors at the end of 2021 as the nightclub of Las Dalias, the Sant Carles venue that has carried a musical history since 1954 and had already hosted concerts, hippy nights, markets, gastronomy, and alternative culture. The room occupies the complex's former party area, transformed with a more contemporary design, warm materials, low lighting, and visual treatments designed to envelop a small dance floor. Access is possible from the bar/restaurant and from the Las Dalias garden; when the garden is not active, the room retains a rooftop smoking area with views of the terrace.

Organic electronics, residents, and cult names

The programming moves between house, melodic house, afro house, downtempo, progressive, and organic sounds, with a musical line that prefers curation over the logic of the big tourist lineup. This identity is heavily influenced by the direction of Igor Marijuan, a figure linked to radio and Ibiza's electronic culture. Artists such as Sven Väth, Hernán Cattáneo, Jan Blomqvist, Sasha, Ida Engberg, John Digweed, or Guy Mantzur have passed through the booth, along with residencies and cycles associated with the Las Dalias universe, such as Namaste, Nido, Supernova, Peace N’Music, or Tales Of The Unexpected.

Sound, proximity, and off-season life

The The Sound Ibiza system provides speakers and subwoofers custom-designed for clear, physical, and less aggressive sound pressure, an important point in a room where proximity to the sound system is part of the experience. Akasha remains active throughout the year with variable programming: in winter, it concentrates much of its calendar on weekends, and in high season, it expands the frequency of sessions linked to the garden and Las Dalias nights. This combination of boutique club, immersive aesthetics, knowledgeable audience, and the hippy heritage of northern Ibiza has given it a unique place within the island's club culture.
