Palm trees, pool, and a dancefloor on an industrial scale

Against the grain of the industrial map of Lleida, Biloba planted in 2016 an open-air venue of 6,000 m² in the Neo Park industrial estate, at the gates of the city and next to the LL-11. The foundational gesture is not a dark room, but a landscape of palm trees and a pool of 600 m² with beach-style access: an open-air Catalan interior that takes the idea of permanent summer seriously, a few minutes from the center.

Main Room, water, and the Bambú sunset

The Main Room absorbs large capacities and concerts. An unexpected part of local pop history has been written there: Bad Bunny performed in 2017 and repeated in 2018, when he didn't yet fill stadiums, and the stage has seen Rauw Alejandro, Quevedo, Duki, Rels B, or Natos y Waor. At night, the pool is illuminated and the garden becomes a social dancefloor, with food trucks and a VIP zone. High up, Bambú functions as a Sunset Roof Garden for those over 27, with views of the Seu Vella. In 2019, about 1,500 m² were covered with a tent so as not to depend on the weather.

Desconnecta and the double life of programming

The club is not exhausted by the commercial. The Desconnecta session has brought Jeff Mills, John Acquaviva, Marc Marzenit, and Misstress Barbara, and Bambú declares a line of techno and deep house. Pool parties, electronic vermouths, university afternoon sessions, and reggaeton nights coexist. The venue is conceived as a mixed space: occasional daytime entertainment and a nightclub, with a license for 3,980 people, parking, and several dancefloor levels.

A decade in The World's 100 Best Clubs

It remains open, with a season that usually starts at the end of April and a variable calendar from Thursday to Sunday. The club itself estimates that more than a million people have passed through the venue. The International Nightlife Association has placed it in The World's 100 Best Clubs in 2018, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025—position 82 in the last list published by the venue—, the only room in Lleida in that ranking. Ten years after the opening, the great open-air of the Segrià remains anchored on Carrer Ivars d'Urgell.
