Valdespartera inflates every October

There is no nightclub door open all year round: every Fiestas del Pilar, the Valdespartera Fairgrounds becomes Espacio Zity, a camp of tents attached to the Z-40 where Zaragoza concentrates concerts and dance floors. The venue is set up, filled, and dismantled. In between, it functions as the macro-stage of the big week, with a capacity of 30,000 people and a logic of an urban festival rather than a neighborhood club.

The name that replaced Espacio Z

The current identity starts in 2018. That October, the old Espacio Z changed management and branding: a joint venture took over the venue and renamed it. Since then, Zity has gone from being an appendix of the fairs to a first-rate musical event, with season tickets that disappear in hours and a lineup that crosses pop, urban, indie, and electronic. The headline of the official website is MPH ZUSUP 2 UTE; the production has been associated with Eventos MPH and Sold Out.

Five canvases and a tent of European scale

The interior map is not that of a single room. In 2026, five tents coexist: the main Zity—presented as one of the largest in Europe, with about 20,000 attendees inside—, Zaragoza, Invernadero, El Jardín, and the Gastro Garden for dining. In 2024, the venue grew to a capacity of 30,000, turned the largest canvas towards the highway, and raised an acoustic wall so as not to disturb the neighborhood. There are lockers, medical service, PRM access, and a VIP area.

When the tent behaves like a club

For electronic culture, the data is not the stadium headliner, but the nights in which the canvas operates as a large-format club. Steve Aoki and the Global Music Fest with Andrés Campo and Marco Carola passed through; Blackworks has closed editions with a massive rave and returns in 2026; Electrolatino occupies the Juan Magán circuit; and Coliseum moves its remember bakala to the Zaragoza Tent. The documented main stage PA combines d&b audiotechnik KSL with L-Acoustics reinforcement.

A venue that disappears and reappears

In 2025, more than 240,000 people passed through in ten nights. Between October 9 and 17, 2026, the venue rises again on Avenida de Casablanca: concerts at dusk and the usual closing of the dance floor at 5:30 AM. Then the tents leave. Until the next Pilar.
