FClub

The km 96 of the Madrid–Ciudad Real road beat again on April 2, 2026. It was Maundy Thursday, a day that for decades had marked the clubbing calendar in Sonseca in red, and that night the venue reopened with a new signature: FClub. The queue, the road trip, and the bass returned to a venue that the Spanish electronic scene had not forgotten.

A coordinate that is traveled

Before social media drew the map, the destination was passed by word of mouth. On the outskirts of Sonseca, in Toledo, that room became a pilgrimage for ravers from Madrid, the province, and half the interior of the peninsula. Since 1995 it operated as Family Club, first after a pop-rock stage in the same building—known before as Naima and Sausalito—and later as one of the temples of national techno. Through its booth passed Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Richie Hawtin, Robert Hood, Nina Kraviz, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, and a long etcetera. The visit of Mills on July 31, 2004, with hours of queues and the session also broadcast on the terrace, remained as a turning point. Residents Luis MF and Luismi del Pino sustained the weekly pulse since the inauguration, with custom warm-ups and closings that the public did not want to leave.

Two dance floors, two temperatures

FClub works with a venue designed to stay inside. The programming is articulated in two rooms. The Freeroom, main dance floor, looks at deep and long-journey techno: the opening [RE:ENCUENTRO] brought FJAAK, Yanamaste, Horacio Cruz, and again Luis MF. Going up the stairs, the Up Room pushes towards hard techno and more extreme rhythms; on the first night that floor continued with a morning session when part of the public was already leaving. It is not a neighborhood club: it is a road destination, with official buses on big dates from Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Alcázar de San Juan, or Valdepeñas.

New signature, same concrete

The previous brand closed its cycle with a Grand Closing on February 22, 2025, in three areas and twelve hours of music. FClub presents itself with its own identity and an explicit disassociation from that management: its posters mark EST. 2026. April 2 was not a nostalgic revival. It was the restart of a physical venue that again asks for the trip, the dance floor, and the long time of Toledan techno.
