The Caspian lit up in November 2023

With Laolu leading Spectrum Fridays, on November 17, 2023, Baku premiered a dance floor the country did not have: an international house and techno room next to the Flag Square and the Caspian waterfront. Since that night, Azerbaijani clubbing changed its center of gravity.

d&b, lasers, and two LED walls

FOMO Baku is sustained by production. The sound system is d&b Audiotechnik; the lighting adds multiple lasers and two 36-meter LED screens for artists to set up installations. The venue is organized into a main dance floor bathed in LED, a smaller afterparty-style space, and, in the same building, the YOLO bar. There are VIP tables, a cloakroom—coats are prohibited on the dance floor—and, facing the sea, the panoramic restaurant B4. The club capacity handled by the international circuit is 500 people: a compact room, not a pavilion.

From 75th place to the Top 50

In 2024, it broke into the Top 100 Clubs as a new entry at 75. In 2025, it rose to 65 and in 2026 to 49. Artists like Âme, Leo Pol, Adriatique, CamelPhat, Dixon, Pete Tong, Dubfire, GORDO, Joseph Capriati, Gerd Janson, and Mahmut Orhan have passed through that dance floor. The audience also arrives from Dubai, Istanbul, and Moscow. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend is its great showcase: official afterparties in 2025 and, in 2026, the open-air series APEX After Dark in front of the club itself, the first step for FOMO outside the closed room.

House, techno, and concept nights

The programming crosses melodic house, techno, afro house, and organic house, with concepts like Eleven by Peredel and local collaborations. The usual schedule is from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, with face control and informal dress. There are no decades of legend behind these walls: there are three years of ranking, international lineups, and an LED room facing the Caspian that is already read on the region's map.
