The courtyard that made the hotel visible

The central pool, surrounded by white balconies and topped by an outdoor stage, turned the heart of the complex into a daytime amphitheater. Instead of separating accommodation and dance floor, the venue articulates rooms, garden, bars, and reserved areas around the same musical focus. From the balconies overlooking the Pool Club to the beds by the water, its architecture integrates the hotel into the event experience and defines a hybrid format of accommodation and musical venue.

From guitars to the pulse of the pool

The Ibiza Rocks brand was born in 2005 with the intention of introducing live music and bands to an island dominated by electronic clubbing. The physical venue took shape in 2008, when the old Club Paraíso Mediterráneo began operating as Ibiza Rocks Hotel, with a stage by the pool and a stable calendar of performances. Throughout that stage, it hosted artists such as The Prodigy, CHIC with Nile Rodgers, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Stormzy, Craig David, Fatboy Slim, and Rudimental, progressively expanding the initial axis of rock and indie toward DJs, pop, hip hop, and electronic music.

Coverage for pool, balconies, and garden

The current musical identity avoids functioning as a room specialized in a single genre. Its program combines house, party classics, R&B, trance, hip hop, and recognizable pop repertoire, with resident DJs, live musicians, guests, and session brands that rotate during the week. Those parties are part of the programming; the stable space remains the hotel's Pool Club. The JBL VTX A-Series configuration distributes main arrays, reinforcements, and columns throughout the different zones, while twelve cardioid subwoofers sustain the bass and limit the energy projected toward the back of the stage.

A new stage in full light

In 2026 the courtyard was relaunched as Ibiza Rocks Pool Club after a renovation aimed at spending the full day at the venue: more seating, garden with beds and sofas, reservable tables, food and drink service, and a covered dance floor. General access usually concentrates between 14:00 and 21:00, with early entry for guests, which places it closer to daytime clubbing than to the nighttime nightclub. After the temporary suspension of the calendar in July 2025, activity returned with this renewed format, daily seasonal programming, and access for those over 18. Its position in San Antonio Abad, integrated into an active hotel and within walking distance of the bus station, keeps the venue as a unique piece of Ibizan pool culture.
