Far from the Alicante beach circuit, in the heart of the Foia de Castalla, the same room crowds on a Saturday around the DJ booth and an LED screen with the Maldives sign, and the next it is organized as a concert venue, with a stage, live lights, and seated audience.

Indoor dance floor with dual trade

Maldivas Club is the physical venue that Malianteo Productions operates on Avenida de Portugal, 23, and which the Castalla City Council lists as Sala Maldivas Club. It is not a traveling brand or a party without a home: it is a stable nightclub and concert hall, with a VIP area with tables and a declared capacity of more than 400 people. The venue serves an inland municipality and the region, and concentrates in a single space what is usually more fragmented on the coast.

Urban, remember, and rock under the same roof

The programming makes it clear. Maldivas Urbano pushes reggaeton and trap; Maldivas Rock reserves the stage for bands and tributes; Maldivas Remember recovers the electronic music that marked an era; and the club line is sustained by resident and guest DJs. Through that dance floor have passed Yung Beef, Kidd Keo, Los Secretos, or José Rey, in addition to tributes to The Beatles, Alejandro Sanz, Joaquín Sabina, and Héroes del Silencio, and metal events like Ktulu. In parallel, nights like Evolution—produced by Vertigo with DJs from the remember circuit—extend electronic music until dawn and confirm that clubbing is not an appendix, but one of the real faces of the venue.

The room reconfigures according to the night

Official images show two architectures of use. In nightclub mode, the canvas roof, the screen, and the standing audience turn the venue into a closed dance floor. In concert mode, the same volume opens to the stage and a more theatrical audience. That ability to fold—from the urban early morning to pop-rock or tribute—is the most characteristic feature of Maldivas: a small room in Castalla that absorbs clubbing, live acts, and remember without leaving town.

Agenda, not fixed schedule

The venue does not present itself as a nightclub open every day. It works by programming: weekends, fairs, and special dates, with openings ranging from the first hour of the night in concerts to the early morning in dance floor parties. The box office and communication go through Malianteo Productions, which continues to use the venue as its home for events in Castalla.
