The B neon between Chamberí and Malasaña

The red curtain and yellow neon of B set the tone before the first bass note drops: an intimate, single-floor club where concerts and the dance floor take turns on the same night. Since 2019, Sala B has established itself as an open-format music club on Calle de Trafalgar, at the crossroads of Chamberí, Malasaña, and Justicia. It does not chase large capacities. The legal limit is 296 people, and that small scale is the point: artists who fill larger venues on other dates play here right next to the audience, and DJs close the night in the same booth.

Trafalgar 6, three hundred square meters

The venue occupies about 300 m² with three-meter-high ceilings, featuring a 15 m² stage under truss, continuous visibility, and two side bars. There is a cloakroom, box office, merchandising area, technical booth, and a dressing room about twenty meters away on Alburquerque. The main system is NEXO GEO S8—three S805 and one S830 per side—with Hybrid 218 subwoofers, NX242 processing, and QSC and Powersoft amplification. When the night shifts to clubbing, the booth is equipped with Pioneer CDJ-3000 and a DJM-750MKII mixer. In the same building, the Bienmesabe tavern—owned by the same company—feeds the neighborhood and serves as the threshold to the venue.

Live at eight, club until six

The concert schedule focuses on alternative pop-rock, indie, post-punk, and urban music, featuring emerging artists on the verge of breaking through and small-venue international tours. The club's own sessions are Thursday and Friday from 23:00 to 06:00 and Saturday from 18:00 to 06:00. On Fridays, Saturdays, and eves of public holidays, the concert clears out around 22:45 to set up for the session. The space is part of circuits like Madrid en Vivo and has hosted dates for Sound Isidro. It is also available for rent for co-productions, private parties, and corporate events, with catering and QR access control.

The Room of Love

The nickname La Sala del Amor (The Room of Love) sums up the house better than any fact sheet: a venue without labels where the energy entering through Trafalgar 6 is what matters. It remains open in Chamberí, a stone's throw from the Bilbao metro station and Plaza de Olavide, with the neon B as its only sign.
