Sala Groove

A sheet of water falls over the letters GROOVE on a stone wall on the Camino de San Antón. This is how Sala Groove presents itself in Pinto, next to kilometer 20 of the Andalusia highway: a physical venue in the south of Madrid that, since 1999, has functioned as a nightclub, concert hall and event space. It is not a traveling brand or a party with its own name: it is the building.

Trusses, disco ball and a divisible Main Room

The heart is an industrial Main Room, with exposed ducts, trusses, a disco ball and a capacity of up to 2,200 people. It can be split into two independent rooms —1,500 and 500— with separate booths and sound, and adds two VIP areas on the stage and the catwalk. The stage serves equally for an all-night DJ or a festival. Outside, the terrace with garden, pool and tents turns the venue into an indoor and outdoor complex; the private parking exceeds 400 vehicles over more than 10,000 m². There is a cloakroom, lockers, two dressing rooms and a professional kitchen.

From Groove Dance Club to the current calendar

The name Groove Dance Club remains visible inside and is the one used by the scene in the early 2000s. In 2001 Oscar Mulero played there on techno nights; Radical, without its own venue after closing in Alcalá de Henares, passed through Pinto. In 2009 a concert chronicler still identified it as the former Sala La Corte. The 2026 calendar mixes hard techno, hardcore, remember and reggaeton, and the venue hosts Santuario, a dark sounds event that in 2024 brought The Sisters of Mercy and Front Line Assembly. Club nights usually close at 06:00.

A venue in the south that remains open

H4T3R, Madhouse or Santuario are brands that rent or occupy the room; Sala Groove is the venue. It remains active, a short distance from Plaza Éboli and the Pinto Cercanías C3 station. The programming is variable, but the dance floor, the terrace and the parking remain.
