On the ground floor of a building on Calle La Calleja, a pedestrian street in the center of Aguilar de Campoo, the LASER sign lights up in a yellow, violet, and pink gradient. In front of it, a curved bar with blue LEDs, white stools, and a lounge with low tables and purple neon define a compact interior, typical of a regional nightclub, with televisions on the walls and a dance floor that does not try to look like a macro-club.

Village café and dance floor until dawn

The public listing is presented as Sala Laser and, at the same time, as Laser2 nightclub and café. This double life defines the venue: it operates as a café and drinks bar, and when the weekend arrives, it becomes the benchmark nightclub for the Palencia region. The club itself announces 2 environments to keep going until dawn and a Main Room with commercial music. Recent reviews continue to mention the terrace; in 2021, during the pandemic, an outdoor chill-out area with a bar was already being described.

The company Baile Láser 99, managed by Eduardo Fombellida, was incorporated in 1998 and maintains its registered office at number 10 La Calleja. The name Laser 2 is part of the site's daily identity. In 2001, a live set by Ángel Sánchez was recorded on the dance floor; in March 2012, the venue hosted Black Devil. It is not an international techno circuit club: its dance floor culture is that of a village venue that programs commercial music, university parties, and occasional concerts.

Regional after-parties when the village is already asleep

It remains open. In December 2023, the Main Room hosted Universiparty with Perico Rral, in a night linked to Fabrik, and that same month it was the venue for the closing party of the Aguilar Film Festival. In 2024 and 2025, it has been the official after-party for Corona Fest, with Héctor Calderón and resident artists. The usual dance floor schedule is Friday and Saturday, from 22:00 to 06:00. For those looking for club culture on a local scale, La Calleja remains the street where Aguilar goes to dance.
