When the bar downstairs has already warmed up, the Boîte changes the register: LED ceiling, booth at dance floor level, and a night designed to stay until closing. At number 186 of Carrer de París, in the Eixample of Barcelona, the venue does not operate as a mega-club: it is a two-story building with three environments—cocktail bar, club, and private room—where electronic music is experienced on a human scale. The public and ticket platforms call that upstairs room Slow Club; the house, on the web and social media, presents itself as Slow Barcelona.

Headlining house on a compact dance floor

The axis of the programming is not the festival lineup every week, but a sustained house music, from Thursday to Saturday. On Thursdays, Deep, Tech, House with resident Navider covers deep, Chicago, funky, and disco until 05:00. On the weekend, own series or those closely linked to the house enter—Hypnotic, Glamour Freaks, Drivin', Soulful City—and the other reference resident, Frankie G, as well as Hermes Disco Eterno. The Candy Box, velvet-lined and with its own bar, functions as a private room connected to the dance floor. The capacity of the Boîte is around 100 people in the club and drops to about 80 if there is a stage set up: you dance close to the DJ, not in an ocean of a dance floor.

Guitars first, turntables later

The same room was not born only as a club. Before midnight, it operates as a concert hall: pop, rock, indie, folk, and electro, with a small rider—Martin Audio F15+ speakers, Allen & Heath Xone:92 mixer—and the instruction to finish at 23:30 so that at 00:00 the DJs enter. Sidonie, Inmune, or Möno have passed through that booth-stage, as well as bands that have coincided with Primavera Sound lineups. That transition from guitars to turntables defines the pulse of the venue: intimate concert first, club later, without changing the venue.

Cocktail, counterpoint and fifteen years of house

Downstairs, the Cocktail Room is proposed as a tribute to the New York clubs of the golden age: reds, violets, long bar, and armchairs. The creative direction of Francesc Galera and, during the first seven years, the bar of Francesc Bretau—who in January 2018 passed the baton to his team—turned that floor into a reference cocktail bar, with the counterpoint as a house gesture: the drink does not always taste like what the sight promises. That double skin—drinking without haste and dancing until six—has been documented since the opening in 2011. In January 2026, the club celebrated its 15th anniversary with Quivver in the Boîte: a heavyweight guest in a room that remains small on purpose, open from Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.
