History of the Raval

Moog is small in size but gigantic in legacy. Located in the heart of the Raval, it occupies the premises of the historic "Villa Rosa," a flamenco tablao from the early 20th century. Today, it is one of the most respected Techno clubs in Europe, famous for being open 365 days a year. Its charm lies in its authenticity: dark wood, wrought iron, and a dense, sweaty atmosphere that recalls the origins of underground clubbing. It is a refuge for night owls and lovers of quality electronic music who flee from passing trends.

Two Souls in One Building

Moog is divided into two spaces with opposing personalities. The ground floor is the realm of Techno and dark electronic music, an acoustically perfect "matchbox" where the proximity to the DJ is total. In contrast, going up the stairs leads to the "Villarosa Room", an upper space full of mirrors and kitsch decoration that pays homage to the venue's past. Here, Disco, Pop, and the most danceable hits of the 80s play, offering a playful and luminous counterpoint to the seriousness of the main dance floor.

Today, Moog offers one of the most intense experiences in Barcelona. Its limited capacity guarantees an almost familiar communion among attendees.
