A return with a Riviera stopover

The outdoor dance floor and the Arena's large screen are the defining gestures of Space Riccione: an Italian version of the Ibizan imaginary brought to the hills of Riccione, with a superclub format and the ambition of a major event. The venue opened its doors in June 2024 at Viale Trebaci, 49, in the area previously occupied by Prince and Musica, two names linked to the nightlife history of the Romagna Riviera. The operation was presented as a continuation of the Space Ibiza legacy, with business backing linked to ECulture and the Cipriani Group, and with a contemporary reading of the club: more open, more scenic, and designed for high-impact summer seasons.

Four zones for the same night

The club is organized into Arena, Garden, Terrace, and Lounge, a functional architecture that allows for alternating between dance floor concentration, outdoor breathing space, and areas of greater privacy without breaking the flow of the night. The Arena concentrates the big names and the visual language of a festival; the Garden maintains the most open part of the venue; the Terrace provides a panoramic view over the hills and the coastal surroundings; and the Lounge operates as a reserved space. This design makes the venue something broader than a conventional nightclub: it functions as an open-air venue, concert hall, and production platform for day and night events.

International electronic music and dance floor culture

The programming has built its identity around house, techno, afro house, trance, and crossover formats, with openings and special parties of extended duration. The 2024 inauguration had Carl Cox as a symbolic figure, accompanied by names like Dixon, Andrea Oliva, Shimza, Anna Tur, and Armonica, and the subsequent agenda has reinforced the international profile with artists and major circuit brands. Space Riccione does not work as an isolated club night, but as a stable venue where club culture is combined with large-format events, concerts, and audiences arriving both from the Adriatic coast and from outside Italy.

Visual production as a hallmark

The second great feature of the club is its technical commitment. In 2025, it incorporated a permanent Claypaky lighting system designed for outdoor operation, with Xtylos Aqua moving heads, Arolla Aqua, and Tambora Flash units integrated into towers, LED screens, and circular structures. This infrastructure, visually directed by Francesco De Cave, reinforces an open-air festival aesthetic: light beams, lasers, smoke, palm trees, and an elevated booth that turn every session into an immersive environment. Active through variable programming, with a special emphasis on the summer season, Space Riccione has positioned itself as one of the most visible bets of the new Italian international clubbing scene.
