Granite, fortress and sunset

Before the first bassline hits the floor, the landscape already defines the experience: military walls, large blocks of Sardinian granite and the Mediterranean open to the west. Phi Beach occupies the Forte Cappellini complex, a coastal battery built between the 19th and 20th centuries in Baja Sardinia, within the municipality of Arzachena. Its contemporary stage began in 2008 at the hands of founder and CEO Luciano Guidi, with an idea unusual for the Costa Smeralda: to turn the transition from afternoon to night into the venue's narrative. The modern intervention does not hide the promontory; it incorporates wood, platforms, terraces and paths between the rock, keeping the sea and the fortification as visual axes.

From aperitif to an open-air dance floor

Nighttime operations start at 18:00, when the sunset and early sessions attract a public that arrives by road or by sea, and continues until the closing time set for each event. The main area functions as an open-air club, with a DJ booth, reserved areas and tiered rest areas; the beach and gardens allow for alternating dancing, dining and breaks without leaving the venue. In 2024, The Rock Club was added, an intimate space for about 150 people, nestled between rock formations and equipped with independent access, along with a new DJ booth on the beach. The Luciano's and Nammos Baja Sardinia restaurants and the terraces over the water reinforce a hybrid format where hospitality, landscape and dance floor culture overlap.

Large-format house facing the sea

The programming moves mainly between house, afro house, tech house, minimal and branches of melodic techno, with an international scale that contrasts with the isolated geography of the place. Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, Tale Of Us, The Martinez Brothers, DJ Tennis, Honey Dijon, Jamie Jones, Fisher and Adriatique have passed through its booths, in addition to residents and artists linked to the Sardinian season. The lineup changes every night and avoids a monolithic identity: the dance floor can lean towards a vocal and luminous pulse at sunset or harden towards more hypnotic rhythms after midnight. Since its entry in 2024, Phi Beach's continued presence in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs has consolidated its visibility within the international circuit.

Renewed technology for a concentrated season

In 2026, the venue debuted an L-Acoustics system deployed throughout the space, accompanied by new Claypaky lighting and projections designed to use the granite and walls as a scenic surface. The 2026 season brings together 45 nights between July 17 and September 12. It remains active as a seasonal venue, with variable programming, access from 18:00 and a published capacity of 2,000 people. The dress code, reserved areas and the integration of catering place the experience in a Mediterranean luxury register, while the proximity of the booth, the scale of production and the continuity of the electronic programming keep the music at the center. Its uniqueness lies in making a coastal fortification, a beach and a contemporary dance floor function as a single soundscape.
