Studio76

Against the grain of the center and the macro-clubs, a warehouse in the Cerámica industrial estate, in Puente de Vallecas, turned Madrid clubbing into a matter of members, admission, and dance floor. Studio76 was organized as a private club and cultural association: not as a typical bar, but as a space to experience electronic music with a contained audience and a door that opens by membership card or invitation.

Electronic culture, label, and radio

The house dates its start to 2013. An agency, the Studio76music label, On Air programs, an academy, and a club formed the same backbone: producing, programming, and broadcasting electronic music. The motto summarizes it bluntly: Studio76 is electronic culture. It has been among the Madrid addresses for house, techno, trance, and psytrance sessions. By the mid-2010s, it was already recognized as the reference private club in the capital, with two spaces equipped for dancing. In the booth, post-disco names like Álvaro Cabana and Hugo Capablanca coincided, and the venue exported its idea to events like Off Week in Barcelona, where it was presented as the most underground club in Madrid.

Industrial warehouse, two floors, and right of admission

The venue is a two-story warehouse on Calle de la Cerámica. Access has been, explicitly, that of a members' club: you have to be a member or go with one, and the club reserves the right of admission. Smoking is permitted. It is not a venue with terraces or VIP boxes: it is a dance floor, a booth, and an audience that has described the place as small, dark, and underground. Among those who have sustained the house are residents like Vico Deep, Roldan, Fel, or Raye. The We Are On Air radio station recorded long sessions inside the venue, with vinyl and streaming, and left a record of an intimate dance floor closer to a private after-party than a large-capacity nightclub.

The dance floor as the only program

The programming has not been reduced to a single genre. From house to techno, from trance to recent hardgroove and vinyl nights, the criteria has been that of a club: careful selection, human capacity, and continuity of a community. The model—association, selective door, industrial estate—places it outside the classic nightclub circuit. That remains its brand: a physical club in Vallecas where electronic music is treated as dance floor culture and not as generic weekend leisure.
