Under the stars of Ta' Qali

Far from the Paceville circuit, UNO Malta concentrates the island's electronic nightlife at the Ta' Qali Crafts Village: an open-air venue of about 70,000 square feet amidst vegetation, bars, walkways, and platforms. The Main Room is Malta's largest uncovered dance floor, designed for over 5,000 people, with a 3D mapping stage, festival production, and a custom Funktion-One sound system that hosts both club sets and major international dates.

Four clubs in one venue

It is not just one club. Treehaus, a stone's throw from the main dance floor, is a tented arena for 1,500 people, with three bars, a VIP area, and raised platforms: open-air in summer and covered in winter so the calendar doesn't stop. Roots, one of the most recent additions, functions as an open-air club for 1,300 to 1,500 people, with bars, VIP, and table service. Heart is the only indoor space, for about 300 guests. The combined capacity reaches 8,000 people across four clubs. All areas, including the upper VIP of the Main Room, are wheelchair accessible. There are food stalls, smoking areas, and VIP entrance.

From Numero Uno to the international map

The public knew it for years as Numero Uno or UNO Village: a club opened among trees and nooks, renovated in 2002 and associated with Maltese summers. The comprehensive renovation and the 2016 relaunch placed it in the orbit of major brands. That year, Lost & Found arrived with Annie Mac, Disclosure, Mark Ronson, or Stormzy, and IMS with Solomun and Pete Tong. Later, Defected, Anjunadeep, elrow, Fisher's TRIIP, Galactica, Fuse, Abode, or XXL settled in, along with headliners like Carl Cox, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Peggy Gou, Marco Carola, Black Coffee, Loco Dice, Honey Dijon, or Sven Väth. Today it is managed by 356 Group, which programs house, techno, commercial, and reggaeton in the same physical venue.

The season doesn't end in October

UNO is not a touring brand: it is the venue. The Opening Party kicks off the summer—in 2026, Loco Dice in the Main Room and Revolver in Roots—and the calendar extends until October with events like Defected Malta or Anjunadeep Malta, while Treehaus and Heart allow for continuity in the colder months. It can be reached via Vjal L-Istadium Nazzjonali or Ħemsija; buses 56, 186, and 202 stop at Villagg, in front of the entrance.
