The drums driving the daytime parties at O Beach

At the pool parties in Sant Antoni de Portmany, the draw is no longer just the DJ: it is the live drums. Albert Bace has become one of the most recurring presences on the Ibiza daytime calendar, playing week after week at O Beach alongside the booths of Kisstory, the Pool Party, and ON111. He arrived at the latter in 2025 as the new percussionist for the series, and since then, his kit has appeared on the lineup with the same naturalness as residents DJ Cameo, Lucy Jane, or Sam Dungate, and with guests like Marvin Humes or Wideboys.

He does not replace the DJ. He adds an acoustic pulse—toms, hi-hats, and cymbals—that pushes the house, UK garage, and R&B of those beach sessions, which the audience recognizes even if they cannot always name it.

Percussion at the forefront of the club

An Spanish electronic artist, drummer, composer, and co-producer, his Drums Live Show format places the instrument at the center: energy, identity, and a visual setup designed for clubs, hotels, and beach clubs. He is an endorser for Santafe Drums and has taken that proposal to Nikki Beach, the daily Swim Beats program at TRS Ibiza Hotel, Mya Club in Valencia, and dates outside the island: O Beach Dubai in 2025 and Solis Beach Club in Bang Tao, Phuket, in February 2026. His artistic profile also includes Amnesia Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza, as well as live collaborations with Majestic, Fat Tony, Marvin Humes, and The Cube Guys.

The logic is the same on all those dance floors: the percussion is not in the background. It coexists with the recorded material and gives it an organic body that the file alone does not replicate.

From Miami to BANG TAO

In the studio, he released Miami (2020) with Maken Row and No Value, and in 2026 the house singles BANG TAO and PHI PHI (label MK TRACKS), again with Maken Row. In 2024, he appeared on Si Tu No Estás X Mi, alongside Dea Infamous. In the O Beach environment, he signed with OBM a remix of No Broke Boys, by Disco Lines and Tinashe. Booking is managed directly, and his video channel documents both the drum show and jams with DJs from the Ibiza circuit, including a recent live set at O Beach with Lucy Jane.
