Few careers on the island span the booth, programming, and the airwaves with such consistency. Igor Marijuan has spent over two decades shaping the electronic landscape of Ibiza as a DJ, broadcaster, and curator, with a warm, emotional, and groove-driven house sound that works just as well at sunset as it does in the club.

Akasha, Las Dalias and the radio that exported the island

Today he is the musical director of Akasha Ibiza, at Las Dalias, and manages Ibiza Global Radio, a station he co-founded: he participated in its birth in 2004, directed the programming for the first two years, and returned in 2023 as operations director. In between, he co-founded and artistically directed Ibiza Sonica Radio for over fifteen years, a pioneer in broadcasting the island's sound to the world. He also works in A&R at Truelove Music, connecting emerging talent with the Ibizan creative network.

A Balearic house that doesn't stick to a single label

On the decks, his language spans deep house, organic, melodic, indie, and disco, always with house at the center. He describes his sets as a balance between easy listening and intelligent sounds, and he adapts the narrative to whoever follows him: more ethereal alongside Hernán Cattaneo, dirtier and more synthetic if the closing act is Maceo Plex. This eclecticism has led him to be a resident for All Day I Dream and Woomoon Ibiza.

From Space and Pacha to the Black Rock City desert

In Ibiza, he has played at Akasha, UNVRS, Pacha, Hï, Ushuaïa, Amnesia, Space, and Beachouse, and has appeared at showcases like the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Awards. Abroad, his route includes Burning Man (Playground, Robot Heart, Pink Mammoth), Tomorrowland, Untold, Creamfields in Argentina and Chile, The BPM Festival, ADE, Sónar, Brunch Electronik, and Do Not Sit in Miami, with dates in Berlin, Montreal, Beijing, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Zurich, Lima, Dubai, Moscow, Los Angeles, or Paris. As a curator for Playground and promoter for NIDO, Supernova, and Pareidolia, he has taken that community to Tulum, Amsterdam, and Shanghai.

2026: Times Artists and All Day I Dream

In 2026 he joined the Times Artists roster. The announced calendar adds Untold, Wonderfruit, Kamaya Festival, a US tour, and a new chapter at Burning Man, without letting go of Akasha or Las Dalias. On the record front, he has released the track Neo (2021) with Valentín Huedo on the All Day I Dream label.
