Dutch groove with club tension

Jamback's pulse is recognized by a combination of rolling bass, minimalist tension, and a luminous energy that connects the Dutch house school with the global dancefloor. Hailing from Moordrecht, in the Netherlands, his musical journey began far from the DJ booth: he trained as a classical guitarist from a young age and, after frequenting venues in nearby cities, shifted that learning toward electronic production and the language of the club. That transition explains part of his identity: precise grooves, clean arrangements, and a way of building pressure that avoids excess without losing impact.

From guitars to the minimal circuit

His first steps in the studio caught the attention of the minimal, deep house, and tech-house axis. He released music on labels such as WHIPPIN, Airtime Records, PIV, PUSH, and Eastenderz, with support from names linked to the European underground sound like Toman, Chris Stussy, Archie Hamilton, wAFF, Dimmish, East End Dubs, and Sidney Charles. The Roaring 20’s EP on PIV reached number one on the Beatport Deep House chart, while Coin Drop reinforced his presence on DJ playlists and club booths in the circuit. Live, his growth passed through Dutch clubs like Now&Wow, Toffler, Reverse, Shelter Amsterdam, and Thuishaven, in addition to performances alongside artists like Dimmish, Luuk van Dijk, and Chris Stussy.

Positive and the international breakthrough

The turning point came with Positive, released by CircoLoco Records in 2025. Conceived during a period of personal grief and transformed into a dancefloor track with rising tension, a firm bassline, and an emotional weight unusual in functional tech-house, the cut became one of the great recent anthems of the genre. Chris Stussy opened with it at Coachella 2025 and it later received support from Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, East End Dubs, Rossi., Sidney Charles, and Toman. In 2026, Positive made history on Beatport by becoming the longest-running number one on the platform, with 64 days in the top global position, surpassing the record of Losing It by FISHER.

A new face of large-format house

With subsequent releases like the It’s Time EP on Hot Creations, Can’t Resist on ROSSI.HOME//GRXWN., and Metronomic on OG Records, Jamback consolidated a sound of elastic groove, refined percussion, and club punch. His schedule expanded with dates in Ibiza and platforms like Circoloco at DC-10, Solid Grooves, Amnesia, and UNVRS, in addition to international tours and a progressive entry into the US market. The industry placed him among the DJ Mag artists to watch for 2026, confirming his transition from a local promise to an emerging figure of global reach within modern house.
