Biography of Marf Daniels
Until dawn at MYA and L'Umbracle
At MYA Club, next to the L'Umbracle garden terrace and the City of Arts and Sciences, Marf Daniels' sessions set the house pulse of Valencia: vinyl and digital technology, acapellas, and a House sound that progresses without shrillness, designed for dancing until dawn. Since 2006, this city has been his home. Today, he splits his residencies between MYA, Sabbia—where he is musical director and resident DJ facing Las Arenas beach—and, in summer, the beach club Zensa Marina in Denia.
Tequila Rock, Bahrein and the European leap
Born in Asunción (Paraguay) on January 27, 1984, he grew up between guitar and piano lessons. At fifteen, he started DJing at private parties; at eighteen, he made his professional debut at Tequila Rock, already with a House sound. At nineteen, he arrived at El Divino in Florianópolis and Club Bahrein in Buenos Aires, where he showed his more Techno side. At twenty-one, he settled in Europe. In Valencia, he was a resident at Pachá VLC, Cool Sessions, Rumbo 144, La Posada de las Ánimas, Miniclub, La Indiana, High Cube, MYA Umbracle, and COD152, among other venues. He has also played at Bora Bora (Ibiza), Pacha, and Spook, and for two consecutive seasons, he provided the sound for Ducati team events at the Barcelona MotoGP World Championship.
RevolutioM, Afrodisiac and Wednesdays on the radio
His signature blends House, Deep House, Deep Tech, and Tech House, with a dark and elegant touch. Between 2016 and 2019, he launched RevolutioM, a benchmark party in the Valencian nightlife. In 2022, Afrodisiac was born, alongside Yas Cepeda, focused on Afro House and featuring a stint in the MainRoom of MYA. Master at Work completes the map as a tribute to the art of mixing. In 2020, he premiered the Marf Daniels Radio Show on Who Electronic Radio (104.1 FM), with over ninety broadcasts. In parallel, he runs Marf Academy, where he teaches DJ techniques in an academy and private studio. He continues to occupy the booth week after week, faithful to a scene he has built between residencies, his own parties, and a mix that prioritizes quality over noisy gestures.
