The booth that turned the Wild Corner into a destination

In the Ibiza of massive venues, Paul Reynolds has established himself as a resident figure capable of performing both on the monumental scale of Ushuaïa and in the sweaty intimacy of the Wild Corner at Hï Ibiza. His language moves between house, disco, funk, and Balearic-rooted grooves, with sets designed to sustain the dancefloor for hours without losing touch with the crowd. In recent years, he has been a regular presence at Black Coffee nights and David Guetta productions, in addition to featuring in the lineups of Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa, and UNVRS.

From the Northern English school to the craft of a resident

His journey began in the clubbing environment of the Wirral, at the House Stompin night promoted by Robbie Edwards and Steve Parry, where he found a musical foundation marked by disco and funk. Later came opportunities at Bowlers and at a Perfecto Records party linked to Paul Oakenfold, before connecting with the Liverpool scene through Alderaan, a club that hosted names like Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Parks & Wilson, and Quivver. During that period, he collaborated with Mike Owen and Steve Broderick, of Katania, on Exo, released by Undercurrent.

A house catalog with a dancefloor accent

Before fully establishing himself in Ibiza, Reynolds was a resident and promoter for a decade at Bar Non, Southport, where he shared the booth with DJs like Yousef, Justin Robertson, and Trevor Rockliffe. He also spent time at Voodoo, one of the benchmark techno nights in Liverpool, and at Spin in Leeds. Once on the island, his residency at Plastik reinforced a warmer and more functional line of house. In the studio, his name became associated with Crossworld Vintage and Crossworld Records with releases such as House About EP, Kumara EP, Dream Coats EP, and Hats Off George EP, in addition to the Neruda EP collaboration with Xavier Arak.

Melon Bomb and the social pulse of Ibiza

The most communal dimension of his career is articulated around Melon Bomb, the collective he shares with Scott Gray, Ben Santiago, and Juan Corbi. Born around Pikes and the Freddies room, the project grew from a gathering of local DJs into a recognizable brand on the island, with a strong disco component, an open spirit, and a vocation for parties without aesthetic rigidity. That balance between resident craft, musical knowledge, and direct energy explains his weight within the Ibiza circuit: he was recognized with the Best Ibiza DJ award at the 2017 DJ Awards alongside Graham Sahara, and he maintains a solid position as a selector associated with the contemporary DNA of Playa d'en Bossa.
