From Tenerife afternoon sessions to landmark DJ booths

The pulse of Rayconen has been built between bright house dancefloors, club booths, and an early relationship with mixing: he started DJing at 14 and soon found in Tenerife a natural territory to develop his language. Born in Tenerife with Italian roots, he made a name for himself within the Lo Squalo collective, where he gained experience at exclusive events on boats, in villas, clubs, and on terraces. That period allowed him to refine a style aimed at the dancefloor, based on tech house, afro house, and classic house, attentive to the groove and the energy of the crowd.

Papagayo as an anchor point

His growth is closely linked to the Canary Islands scene. After traveling to Ibiza at 18 and performing at venues like Blue Marlin Ibiza and Santos Ibiza, he returned to Tenerife, consolidating his presence at Papagayo Tenerife, the club where he serves as a resident DJ. From that local focal point, he has expanded his activity to venues and festivals such as Pacha Barcelona, The Bassement Madrid, FIB Benicàssim, GreenWorld, and Mappa, in addition to appearing on radio formats like Los 40 Dance In Session, BBR Tenerife, and Radio Shake Hit in Italy. His schedule has also placed him alongside international artists such as Mark Knight, Paco Osuna, Solardo, Francisco Allendes, Davide Squillace, George Privatti, Anna Tur, and Tony Guerra, with B2B sessions alongside Detlef, Rossi, Jesse Calosso, and Matthias Tanzmann.

Production, competitions, and a developing identity

In 2023, he was selected as one of the 50 finalists for elrow Up & Coming Talent, a competition with over 3,000 participants, and in 2024 he won Heineken Rising Stars, a milestone that opened the door for him to perform on a stage at FIB Benicàssim. In parallel, he has begun to strengthen his facet as a producer, with club-oriented releases and edits. His catalog includes tracks such as House Texture, released on Clipper's Sounds, After Party on Bunny Music, Socadao with Solander on Drop Low Records, and I Hear Something on Flashmob Records. His first EP reached the Top 91 in Tech House on Beatport, and some of his edits placed at numbers 26 and 45 on Hypeddit. With support from names like Jamie Jones, Fisher, Detlef, Manda Moor, and Hector Couto, Rayconen is advancing as an emerging figure in the Canary Islands house circuit with national and international projection.
