His local reputation has been built through constant practice: opening the night, warming up demanding rooms, holding residencies, and reading the moment without reducing the set to a succession of new releases.

Crash Planet and an idea with a message

In 2024, he opened a new chapter with Crash Planet Records, a Dallas-based label conceived as an underground, transversal platform not tied to closed labels. Its first release, Power People, opted for an acid and functional reading inspired by the rave spirit of the early nineties and marked Red Eye's entry into a more authorial phase. The label seeks to gather music with weight, purpose, and durability, combining local artists with international names and maintaining an aesthetic line linked to groove, dancefloor politics, and community.

Awarded in Dallas as best club DJ and recognized for his experience of more than two decades, Red Eye occupies a place less based on massive exposure than on continuity. His history includes Club One, Beauty Bar, Audiophile Deep, Science Cult, It’ll Do, and a network of relationships that has allowed him to share the night or open for figures like Josh Wink, Carl Craig, Sasha, Miss Monique, or Danny Tenaglia. Currently, he maintains a singular position: that of a craftsman DJ, restless producer, and scene agitator who understands the club as an archive, laboratory, and space for cultural transmission.
