British house with a vinyl soul

On the dancefloors of Leeds, Reeshy has become one of the most recognizable selectors of house and UK garage in the north of England: full-throttle sets, digging for rare vinyl, and unreleased weapons that cross disco, soul, and breaks. Raised in Middlesbrough and based in the musical capital of Yorkshire, she went from local parties to setting clubs like Mint Warehouse and Distrikt on fire.

From Café Orange to All Night Long marathons

She taught herself to DJ in Middlesbrough, using tutorials and a Traktor covered with a tea towel to hide the BPM. Her first gig was Café Orange at Distrikt. For over a decade, she balanced the DJ booth with her job as a primary school teacher, until in 2026 she left the classroom to dedicate herself to music full-time. Mint and the FUSE community in London, Manchester, and Brighton were her school: The Loft, The Cause, Ritmo, and Lab11, where she played a five-hour All Night Long set. In 2026, she sold out her first marathon in Leeds, at Under The Arches, in front of about 700 people. She has also played on the terrace at Amnesia in Ibiza, at The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and at events like Newsam Park, Love Saves The Day, and Eastern Electrics.

Breaks on Pilot and the E-Numbers label

Production came later, in the studio with Bobby O'Donnell, a Mint resident. Burnski signed their first joint EP for Pilot (PILOT05, 2021): four tracks of breaks, garage, and nineties rave that sold out on vinyl. The second, PILOT09 (2022), pushed towards electro. On Mindhelmet, by Truly Madly, they released Via Lincoln Green (2023), and on E-Numbers, O'Donnell's label, they signed ENUMD001 and the twelve-inch No More / Redline This (2026). They also remixed Galvanize, by Anna Wall and Thoma Bulwer, for Parasol Culture.

Booking in Amsterdam and management in London

In September 2026, she signed her booking with the Amsterdam-based agency Meanwhile, while maintaining management with FUSE London. Mixes for Arcadia Sounds, Ritmo London, UK Hun, and KMAH radio foreshadowed the leap. The sound remains that of a vinyl-loving northerner: thick house, garage, disco, and soul, always at the service of the dancefloor.
