D4 D4NCE Mondays under the O Beach sun

On daytime Mondays at O Beach, the D4 D4NCE label has turned the Ibiza terrace into a place where Siân Owen's house is instantly recognizable: bright groove, elastic bass, and a selection designed for midday. The London-based DJ and producer landed this residency in 2024, the same year as her debut release on the Defected ecosystem, and has returned to the island in successive seasons. The circuit has also taken her to Pacha for Sonny Fodera's nights, Ibiza Rocks, and Eden, and in 2026 to lineups featuring Calvin Harris at Ushuaïa and Armand Van Helden at O Beach.

From Hertfordshire to Ministry of Sound

Raised in a town in Hertfordshire, she moved to London to study and that is where she truly got hooked on dance music. The British public had seen her before, in 2018, on the first season of The Circle (Channel 4), where she finished third. In 2019, she launched her own show on Flex FM and, during lockdown, became obsessed with the decks. Radio was her laboratory: her own mixes and commissions for KISS FM, Apple Music, and Ministry of Sound.

In the capital, she signed a residency at Sushi Samba, programming female-led lineups for Casa de Samba nights, and became a regular at Ministry of Sound, Studio 338, and La Fiesta. On New Year's Eve 2022, she closed the year at a packed Ministry. The leap outside the UK came with ADE in Amsterdam and Tomorrowland Winter, in addition to opening for Richy Ahmed, Roger Sanchez, Jess Bays, Danny Howard, Sammy Porter, and George Mensah. She has also headlined nights at London's 338.

Ryder Sounds and dancefloor singles

Her first single, Don't Mean A Thing (April 2024), featuring the vocals of Poppy Baskcomb, opened the door to D4 D4NCE. In 2025 came She's A Bad Mama Jama, a guitar-driven club track that took off on TikTok before its official release, and Need You alongside Tayá, with support from Sonny Fodera. In August 2026, she released Trippin' with EVA. The sound she champions is dancefloor house, with disco nods and a polished production designed for mixing.

In parallel, she launched Ryder Sounds, her brand for parties and exclusive mixes: 001 was recorded at Pioneer Studios and the first nights took place at The Annex in Shoreditch. With residencies in Ibiza, a catalog on Defected, and an increasingly sharp club identity, Siân Owen is establishing herself as one of the emerging voices of British house this decade.
