Sonny John Moore, born on January 15, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, and known worldwide as Skrillex, has one of the most radical trajectories in music. He began his career as the lead vocalist for the post-hardcore band From First to Last, touring the world until vocal cord issues forced him to step away from the microphone. Far from giving up, he took refuge in electronic production, adopting the alias Skrillex to unleash a sound no one had heard before. In 2010, his EP "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" not only won three Grammy awards, but also popularized Dubstep globally, defining the aggressive sound of a generation.

Skrillex didn't stop at Bass Music. With 9 Grammy awards, he holds the record for a dance music artist. His versatility is infinite: he formed the duo Jack Ü with Diplo, producing hits like "Where Are Ü Now" with Justin Bieber, and founded the label OWSLA to incubate new talent.
