Traumer's music is recognized by a blend of rhythmic precision, depth, and contained tension. In his sets, minimal groove moves patiently, yet never loses its dancefloor orientation: elastic basslines, surgical percussion, hypnotic layers, and a selection that often alternates between his own material, edits, and obscure cuts. This way of building a journey has established him as one of the most solid French figures within minimal, deep house, and fine-tuned techno.

From Avignon to a more hypnotic reading of techno

Born in Avignon in 1991 and artistically developed in the French scene, he began releasing music in the early 2010s, first with an energy closer to techno and later with a language that became increasingly subtle, spatial, and focused on bass movement. The album Takt, released in 2014 on Herzblut, marked a first statement of intent within a catalog that has also passed through labels such as Skryptöm, Desolat, Berg Audio, FUSE London, Cosmo Records, and All Inn Records. Over time, his sound shifted toward a more flexible minimalism, attentive to microscopic detail and repetition as a narrative tool.

Get—traum as his own laboratory

In 2016, he launched get—traum, a platform that functions as a label, community, and space for experimentation. From there, he has reinforced an aesthetic identity based on functional club music, but with a clear emotional dimension: long tracks, clean mixes, round textures, and a taste for progressions that reveal themselves unhurriedly. The label has served both to release his own material and to gather like-minded artists around a very specific vision of contemporary house and minimal.

Aliases, collaborations, and reference booths

His discography expands through aliases and side projects such as Roman Poncet, Jinger, or Brako, in addition to collaborations with DJ Deep and with Anton on the antraum project. This multiplicity allows him to move between harder profiles, organic house lines, and a more abstract club approach without diluting the Traumer signature. As a DJ, he has consolidated a constant presence in high-level booths and festivals, with appearances linked to spaces such as Rex Club, fabric, Shelter, Hï Ibiza, DGTL, and Junction 2. He currently maintains a relevant role in the international scene thanks to an unusual balance between prolific production, label artistic direction, and a way of DJing centered on detail, tension, and groove.
