Dutch groove with global impact

The elastic pulse of Chris Stussy connects classic house, the Dutch minimal school, and a very physical interpretation of contemporary clubbing. Musically raised between Leiden and Amsterdam, he went from DJing in gardens, birthdays, and local bars to becoming an international reference for a generation seeking groove, warm basslines, bouncy percussion, and tension without artifice. His early stage was marked by the discipline of the warm-up DJ and a deep listening of American house, European minimal, and vinyl culture, elements that remain present in his extended sets and production.

Up The Stuss as a unique language

After releasing on labels such as PIV Records, Robsoul Recordings, Rutilance Recordings, Yoyaku, Kaoz Theory, and FUSE London, in 2020 he founded Up The Stuss, a platform that functions as a label, aesthetic community, and showcase for like-minded artists. There, he consolidated an identity based on soulful dancefloor tools, discreet melodies, and a sense of swing that avoids both flat nostalgia and festival maximalism. Releases such as Get Together with S.A.M, Mysteries Of The Universe, All Night Long, Midtown Playground EP, Desire, Go with Moby, and Won't Stop (Don't) show an evolution from warmer-cut deep house to a more expansive, fast, and recognizable sound.

Big booths, club control

His growth accelerated with All Night Long, which became a 2023 anthem and a turning point for an increasingly global agenda. Since then, he has performed on stages and at clubs such as Coachella, Awakenings, Time Warp, Sunwaves, DC-10, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, KOKO, The Warehouse Project, Club Space Miami, and Boiler Room in Edinburgh. Although his scale has multiplied, he maintains a way of mixing very linked to long-form storytelling: rhythmic layers, unreleased tracks, patient transitions, and an energy that can work both in a 600-person room and in front of thousands of attendees.

Parallel projects and auteur stage

Together with Locklead, he develops Across Boundaries, a collaborative project with releases such as Sense Of Future, Synergy, and Sakura, edited within the Up The Stuss universe. He has also worked under the Stussko concept alongside Kolter. In 2025, he launched USS, his event series, with an immersive orientation focused on music. The stage opened with Lost, Found & Forgotten..., his album announced for 2026, expands that ambition: Stussy appears not only as a high-demand DJ, but as a producer, label head, curator, and central figure of the new-school European house.
