The pulse of Ellia Jaya is recognized by a very physical reading of the dancefloor: warm grooves, punchy basslines, and an energy that looks to 90s house without losing contemporary tension. Born in Manchester, she found a turning point during her first season in Ibiza in 2018, when direct contact with the island's club culture finalized a DJing style oriented towards movement, immediate connection, and the construction of dynamic sets.

Bass Jamz as a testing ground

Her growth has been closely linked to the Bass Jamz ecosystem, both in the booth and in the studio. There, she has released material such as Sunset Lovers with Mizbee and Feel The Funk, in addition to appearing on Dance Energy 001 with Motor Mouth. That stage consolidated her profile within British underground house: a selection that crosses deep house, tech house, and bass textures, with a clear preference for elastic basslines and percussion designed for large systems. In parallel, her presence at the brand's events has placed her on stages like 528 Ibiza and on lineups where she shares ground with regular names from the European underground circuit.

From club edits to the international catalog

The studio leap arrived with greater visibility in 2024 with the Groove Movement EP on Dansu Discs, a release supported by robust bass, functional vocals, and a direct club language. In 2025, she expanded her catalog with Keep Me Dancing on SOUND SOUND, Talk About Bass on MicroHertz, Time Traveller on Bass Jamz, and Disconnect My Mind with Poppy Wright on Three Six Zero Recordings. She also appeared on the Moxy Muzik Off Sonar VA 2025 with Right Foot Left and signed new releases such as Shaking It Off on neXup recz and the Holding Back EP on Moody Disco.

An expanding agenda

In the booth, Ellia Jaya has been adding performances at major venues and festivals, including Amnesia Ibiza, After Caposile in Italy, and Creamfields. Her recent calendar connects her with the clubbing scene in Ibiza, Manchester, Leeds, London, and other British hotspots, while her joining Meanwhile for international representation reinforces a stage of greater projection. Her current position is that of an emerging artist with a defined identity: house with a hedonistic vocation, direct technique, and a dancefloor narrative that prioritizes groove, bass, and collective response.
