When Kobosil played his track in Switzerland

The hard techno of Ueberrest wasn't born on a label, but in a Swiss club where Kobosil dropped one of his cuts and the dancefloor responded. That echo—that of a producer still without a safety net watching strangers dance to his rhythm—marked the point of no return and pushed him into the circle of 44 Label Group, the Berlin label where he now releases vinyl, remixes, and the Rotten aesthetic.

A town without clubs and the first night in Lucerne

He grew up in a small town in Switzerland, far from any techno circuit, between dance studios, CD shelves, and a guitar he played by ear for over eight years. At home, Swiss discipline and a Swedish emotional heritage crossed paths; he turns that tension into an architectural and cinematic sound, mechanical and human at the same time. The physical impact of the club arrived in Lucerne, sneaking in as a minor, and a high school classmate lent him his first DAW. Since then, he produces by instinct: hip hop, metal, pop, and classical music enter as atmosphere, not as a template.

From R009 to 44024

At the end of 2023, he broke through with R009 on R Label Group. In 2024, Radiance arrived alongside Kobosil and the ambitious 44008: eight dancefloor tracks—Cryptic, Ways To Die, Like The Rave, Blut Aus Gold—with nervous builds and drops designed for heavy systems. 2025 expanded the map: Cryptic (Kobosil Hart Mix), the album 44014—Stay High, Rotten Youth, Motor Beam, Never Forget—and the remix of Luciano's Push It. In March 2026, he released 44024. His palette moves between hard techno, industrial techno, and a dark, frontal rave trance, often in the 150 to 165 BPM range.

Long sets, from Teletech to DOOM Bogotá

In 2025, he left his conventional job to live off music. As a DJ, he sustains long, continuous, and physically impactful sets: Teletech, Kompass with the 44 clan, Open Beatz, Input in Barcelona, Rotterdam Rave, Respira in Chile, and an official set recorded at DOOM Bogotá. European booking is handled by Tote Sonne; in America, Liminal. What he projects now is not empty distortion, but a ritual identity at the service of a dancefloor that wants duration, pressure, and belonging.
