Maximalism versus monochrome techno

VTSS sets are recognized for a high-voltage energy that rejects monochrome techno. Raised in the Warsaw underground, she imposed a crossover of EBM, industrial textures, hardcore, and abrupt genre shifts when much of the European scene still favored austerity. That school was forged in Brutaż, a vinyl and harm reduction collective where she was a resident, and at Jasna 1, her home club: beyond DJing, she worked behind the bar and in organization, understanding the night as a team effort.

Unsound, Berlin, and the speed of Säule

In 2012, a stint at Unsound in Krakow—while she was studying Law and Economics—pushed her to leave university and train in sound engineering. In 2018, she moved to Berlin and released Self Will on Intrepid Skin, SPFDJ's label, and Identity Process on Repitch. The circuit accelerated: Berghain and especially Säule, De School, Possession, Junction 2, Unsound, CTM, and later, Dekmantel, DGTL, Awakenings, Movement, Sónar, and Time Warp. In 2019, she was on the cover of Mixmag, signed a BBC Essential Mix, her Boiler Room in London marked a turning point, and she joined the Discwoman roster. She also released on Haven and bbbbbb, Bjarki's label.

Ninja Tune, vocals, and rave pop

Fed up with Berlin's unwritten rules, she settled in London in 2020. Borderline Tenderness, on VEYL, brought the dancefloor anthem Goin Nuts with LSDXOXO. In 2022, Projections on Technicolour—a Ninja Tune subsidiary—lowered the BPM towards IDM, breaks, and bass. From there came a vocal and audiovisual phase: Make You Scream, Body Mind Hell, Notoriously Fast, Incredibly Annoying, and Circulus Vitiosus. She collaborated with Boys Noize on Steady Pace, remixed Shygirl and horsegiirL, and in 2026 released The Lobby alongside Hudson Mohawke and LSDXOXO. Danny L Harle pointed to her as the future of dance music by commissioning a remix of his Harlecore project.

From Coachella to the A/V artifact

Based in New York, the project has become a 360-degree artifact: booth, song, fashion, and scene. Together with Freeka Tet, she designed the audiovisual show premiered at Coachella 2025 and toured across Europe, the UK, and North America. She has walked for Ottolinger, Dilara Findikoglu, Diesel, and Kim Shui, maintains For Your Entertainment on NTS, and has headlined Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas. The thread has not changed: speed, friction, humor, and a refusal to let techno dictate her wardrobe, tempo, or character.
