Brutalismus 3000

160 bpm kicks and a shredded voice

Brutalismus 3000 burst onto the Berlin scene with a dirty, ironic, and sung gabber style that the minimalist techno of the late 2010s was not prepared to absorb. The duo met in 2018 on Tinder and saw each other that same night at a bar in Neukölln. The project was founded in 2019 and began recording in 2020, at tempos of 150-160 bpm, with lyrics in German, English, and Slovak, and an aesthetic they dubbed nu gabber post techno punk.

The Possession set that changed everything

Their debut EP Amore Hardcore was released on April 24, 2020; Liebe in Zeiten der Kola arrived on November 20. In December, their Brvtal Vision session at HÖR Berlin surpassed two million views. On October 16, 2021, they played at the Boiler Room Festival in London on the Possession stage: the video exceeded eight million views. Eros Massacre (April 29, 2022) solidified anthems like No Sex With Cops and Satan Was a Babyboomer, and their 3ISBÄR remix of Grauzone's Eisbär placed them in the wake of the Neue Deutsche Welle. Their references range from DAF and Malaria! to Scooter, Blümchen, and 2000s punk.

Ultrakunst, Coachella, and the Columbia label

Ultrakunst, their first album, was released on April 7, 2023, via Live From Earth and reached number 11 on the official German charts. The music video for Die Liebe kommt nicht aus Berlin was their first official video. In 2024, they signed the EP Goodbye Salò with Live From Earth and Columbia, toured Europe with the Europaträume tour, and made their debut at Coachella. They have played at Berghain, Primavera Sound, Melt, Pohoda, and Hive. Their audience, mostly Generation Z, has an average age of eighteen or nineteen according to them: front rows of queer girls and teenagers singing Good Girl.

Harmony, the band turn

On June 26, 2026, Harmony arrived, their second album and first major band-oriented gesture: co-production with Boys Noize and Dylan Brady of 100 gecs, and collaborations with Underworld and Anya Taylor-Joy. Victoria Vassiliki Daldas grew up in rural Bavaria, the daughter of a Greek father and a Slovak-German mother; Theo Zeitner, from Coburg, studied film and has been producing since around 2012. Today, the duo, based in Berlin and linked to Live From Earth and Columbia, is moving away from dark-room hard techno to occupy band stages, with the same political irony and the same distorted voice that made them unmistakable.
