Attendance record and sold out at Monegros Desert Festival
The desert will welcome an audience from 96 nationalities in a record-breaking edition with 10 stages and more than 120 artists.
There are only a few days left until the desert beats again to the rhythm of Monegros Desert Festival and the organization confirms the news that many were waiting for: the event has sold out all its tickets. Next Saturday, 60,000 ravers will turn Fraga into the global epicenter of electronic music and underground cultures in what will be the edition with the highest public turnout in the entire history of the festival.
An international electronic pilgrimage
The sold out once again demonstrates the unique character of an event that, for more than three decades, transcends the concept of a festival to become an authentic cultural pilgrimage. This year, moreover, the international dimension reaches unprecedented figures: attendees from 96 nationalities will share an unrepeatable day in the heart of the Aragonese desert.
Of the total expected audience, 67% will arrive from different parts of Spain, while 33% will be international, with France (12%), Italy (10%), Germany (2%), Portugal (2%), Switzerland (1%), and the United Kingdom (1%) as the main international markets. A diversity that consolidates Monegros as one of the great European destinations for lovers of electronic music.
The Monegros community also maintains a very well-defined generational profile: an average age of 28 years, with 25 and 26 years being the most represented ages, with a public distribution of 60% men and 40% women.
An ephemeral city with 10 stages and more than 120 artists
For more than twenty uninterrupted hours, the desert will once again be transformed into an authentic ephemeral city dedicated to music and rave culture. The 2026 edition will bring together 10 themed stages and more than 120 national and international artists from a multitude of dance electronic styles; all of them distributed across 10 stages with their own identity such as OUTWORLD, Techno Cathedral, Dust x UNREAL, elrow, The Dome x Awakenings, Duna x ARTCORE, Industry City x 240 F2F, El Corral, El Pajar, and Open Air. A sonic journey that will once again turn the desert into one of the world's greatest temples of electronic music and underground cultures.
The lineup brings together some of the most influential figures on the international scene such as Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Héctor Oaks, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Len Faki, Klangkuenstler, Indira Paganotto, Kobosil, Fatima Hajji, Seth Troxler, Marco Faraone, Patrick Mason, Clara Cuvé, Toni Varga, Sally C, Chelina Manuhutu b2b Tini Gessler, Dax J b2b Daria Kolosova, Ben Klock b2b SHDW or Brutalismus 3000, among many other names that draw a program capable of satisfying all audiences in the rave universe.
With a venue of enormous dimensions, the organization recommends that all attendees consult the official festival sitemap in advance, an essential tool for locating stages, bars, information points, rest areas, medical services, lockers, catering areas, and all the spaces that are part of the Monegros experience.
Knowing the layout of the venue will allow you to optimize travel and make the most of a program designed so that the music never stops playing.
All information, in real time, from the official App
The official Monegros Desert Festival App will once again be the great operations center for all attendees. Through it, they will be able to check the updated schedules for each stage, receive notices and relevant information in real time, easily locate the different spaces of the venue, and stay informed throughout the day.
An indispensable tool so as not to miss any of the key moments of a historic edition.
A logistical operation worthy of the greatest Monegros in history
Building a city for 60,000 people in the middle of the desert requires organizational machinery of enormous complexity. Just during the festival, more than 3,000 professionals will work to ensure everything functions with precision, along with more than 400 companies involved in the assembly, production, and operation of the event.
Among the figures that reflect the magnitude of this edition, the following stand out: 1,200 waiters distributed throughout the venue with 600 linear meters of bars to speed up service. In addition, 450 buses are planned to facilitate the access of thousands of attendees from different cities. A mammoth production with thousands of professionals coordinated in production, security, cleaning, logistics, healthcare, assembly, and technical services.
The organization also reminds attendees of the importance of respecting the established schedules for access to the parking lots, recommending planning arrival well in advance to speed up entry to the venue and minimize waiting times.
Growing also means reducing environmental impact
The growth of the festival continues to be accompanied by a significant environmental commitment, incorporating solutions that allow for a significant reduction in its ecological footprint.
Among the main objectives achieved in this edition, it stands out that more than 90% of the materials used are reused from edition to edition and six areas of the venue will operate using hybrid generator and battery systems, powered exclusively by 100% renewable fuel.
In addition, the recycling of more than 65 tons of waste is expected during the event, and the use of approximately 450 buses will allow for the avoidance of around 500 tons of CO₂ emissions compared to the majority use of private vehicles.
With these measures, Monegros continues to demonstrate that it is possible to continue growing without giving up on moving towards an increasingly efficient and responsible model.
Next Saturday, the desert will once again write a new page in its history. 60,000 people, 96 nationalities, more than 120 artists, and a historic sold out will make the 2026 edition the greatest Monegros Desert Festival ever held.
