Scratch at the Beats room of MYA

In the Beats room of MYA, the club at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, V-Funk builds big dancefloor sessions with a hallmark rarely seen on that circuit: scratch and beatjuggling. He is presented as a resident DJ for Mya Beat and, throughout 2026, he reappears on the venue's posters alongside Marf Daniels, Fercho Energy, Jose Buzz, and Juanma Vallejo, during commercial electronic and club nights like Guilty or Música y Arte.

The Backyard and the map of black music

Outside the nightclub, his recorded work is that of an urban selector. On Mixcloud, where he has been posting since 2014, he signed the The Backyard series—sessions of over two and three hours of hip-hop, afrobeat, and dancehall—, IMPALA (hip-hop, R&B, and afro), UK Vibes vol.1 (UK garage, drill, and hip-hop), and Verano, an amapiano set of over an hour. He does not pursue a catalog of electronic singles: he moves club and street genres with turntable technique and an ear tuned to the dancefloor.

Mislata, Valencia Estancia, and the Razzmatazz warmup

In the Valencian hip-hop scene, his name is linked to the Mislata studio he shared with his brother Louis Amoeba, the axis of the Valencia Estancia platform. On the album Sabotaje (2016), he appears on the tracks VLE and Sentido, alongside Suyana and Quarzoismellow. When Hoke and Amoeba brought BBO to Razzmatazz 2 in Barcelona, V-Funk opened the room with a warmup that crossed Soulja Boy, Central Cee, Kendrick Lamar, 7 Notas 7 Colores, and Soto Asa: a bridge between local rap and the international club scene.

Thursday Moova at Jagger Club

In the center of Valencia, he heads the Thursday Moova at Jagger Club, a black music cycle—afrobeats, amapiano, and R&B—alongside Dreya and Lil Zaki B. He defines himself as a DJ and floorshaker based in Valencia with a career at Indiana and Café Bolsería. Today, he moves between the massive dancefloor of MYA, the club on Gran Vía, and that turntablist craft that continues to define how he plays.
