Since 2013, its main festival has been held in the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest), a natural setting that contrasts with the avant-garde sonic architecture built there. Uncompromising Curation

Every year, the Dekmantel lineup is a manifesto of what matters in contemporary electronic music. It ignores commercial trends to focus on forgotten pioneers, the most obscure vinyl selectors, and future innovators. It is the place where legends of Chicago House and Detroit Techno share space with experimental music, Jazz, African disco, and abstract sounds.
