Born from Activism

EXIT Festival Group has one of the most inspiring origins in the industry. Founded in 2000 by Dušan Kovačević in Novi Sad, Serbia, it began not as a business, but as a massive student movement fighting for democracy and freedom in the Balkans. This activist root remains the heart of its identity, using music as a tool for social change and cultural connection.

The Petrovaradin Fortress

Its main event, EXIT Festival, is world-famous for its spectacular location: the 18th-century Petrovaradin Fortress, overlooking the Danube. The acoustics of its walls and tunnels create a unique sonic experience, especially in its legendary "Dance Arena," considered by many DJs to be the best stage in the world to watch the sunrise.

A Multi-Genre Platform

Unlike other purely electronic promoters, EXIT prides itself on its eclecticism, mixing rock, metal, hip-hop, and cutting-edge electronic music. The group has expanded its influence by organizing more than 50 festivals in 12 countries (such as Ada Divine Awakening or Sea Star), always promoting values of peace, ecology, and youth development through its EXIT Foundation.
