The expansion of Club Live in the heart of Manchester

In a strategic move that redefines the consumption of electronic music in real time, Apple Music has confirmed the addition of the iconic event series The Warehouse Project to its broadcast initiative. Through the Club Radio station, the streaming platform will broadcast selected sessions live from the imposing Depot Mayfield venue, bringing the energy of British clubbing to a truly global audience.

Twenty years of legacy and sonic vanguard

This alliance coincides with the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the Manchester promoter, framed within the highly anticipated WHP26 season that will begin this September. From its humble beginnings at the old Boddingtons brewery to its current residence at the former train station, The Warehouse Project has established itself as a fundamental pillar of modern rave culture. Following the successful launch of the Club Live format earlier this month with the EDC Las Vegas festival, the addition of the British institution consolidates the technology company's commitment to dance spaces. Over the coming months, millions of listeners will be able to experience in real time the performances of established figures and cutting-edge talents such as Ki/Ki, Overmono, Solomun, or Tiësto, whose sessions will form the backbone of this historic season.

This collaboration allows us to capture and share the WHP experience far beyond Manchester, reaching audiences all over the world and giving visibility to both local and international talent.

— Mark Abbott, Promoter and Director of New Business at The Warehouse Project

For his part, Stephen Campbell, global director of Dance and Electronic Music at Apple Music, has highlighted that the incorporation of the English brand is a natural extension of their vision to celebrate the most influential institutions on the international scene. In addition to the free live broadcasts via Club Radio, the platform will continue to enrich its music archive. Selected sets will become part of an on-demand catalog powered by Spatial Audio technology, ensuring that the immersion and the punch of the venue's characteristic bass remain intact for subscribers.

The digital ecosystem as a preserver of rave culture

The synergy between streaming titans and historic promoters underscores a paradigm shift in the music industry. By digitizing and distributing in high fidelity what was once an ephemeral and local experience, the preservation of contemporary sonic heritage is guaranteed. This democratization of access not only amplifies the reach of artists but also sets a new standard for how future generations will discover and experience the authentic essence of club culture.
