The debut of 'The Resistance' in the heart of Ibiza

Belgian artist Charlotte de Witte has officially inaugurated her new audiovisual show, titled The Resistance. The world premiere took place last Friday, May 29, 2026, at the superclub UNVRS Ibiza, located in San Rafael. This project marks a direct evolution from her previous stage format, Overdrive, and moves away from the traditional DJ set structure to offer an immersive experience that unifies her signature acid techno sound with a large-format visual narrative.

During the debut performance, the main room of UNVRS was saturated with colossal projections of human faces and figures that alternated between an intimate black-and-white aesthetic and baths of red and pink light. Across the screens, the word 'ONE' appeared as a recurring visual motif, synchronized with the relentless synthesizer basslines that define the producer's sound.

An international tour heading to Paris

Far from being a one-night-only exclusive event, The Resistance has been designed as a tour concept for the most demanding stages on the European and global circuit. Following the resounding success on the White Island, the production moves directly to France, with the city of Paris confirmed as the next stop. The 2026 calendar also includes confirmed performances at top-tier festivals, consolidating the global impact of the proposal:
